Background

A Bengaluru-based fintech startup specializing in automating voucher entries for Tally approached Opus Momentum with a pressing need: establish and enhance its online presence. The startup’s innovative software integrates seamlessly with Tally—a widely used accounting platform in India—to simplify voucher entry processes for accountants and businesses.

Despite having a cutting-edge product, the client struggled to generate awareness and organic leads. Their primary goal was to scale organically, improve search engine rankings, and ultimately increase signups from accountants and CAs who frequently rely on Tally.

Challenges

  • Minimal Visibility: The website initially attracted only 50 monthly organic visitors. With a Domain Authority (DA) of 2 and Page Authority (PA) of 2, it struggled to compete in the fintech market.
  • Content Deficit: The site lacked in-depth content that could engage its target audience—accountants, CAs, and small businesses.
  • Weak Backlink Profile: No existing backlinks to bolster SEO efforts and improve authority.
  • Technical Issues: Problems with canonical tags, image formats, and overall responsiveness hindered both user experience and search engine indexing.
  • Low Conversion Volume: The site had a nominal average of 15 signups per month, reflecting limited reach and a narrow organic funnel.

Scope of Work

Opus Momentum implemented a comprehensive SEO campaign over five months, covering the following key areas:

4. Link Building
